ABOUT DSA
|
BEGINNINGS
In 1998, with the rapid advancements and increased affordability of
digital technology, Doug Simon set out to establish a different kind
of architecture office. He started DSA with the belief that new
electronic media had rendered the conventional brick-and-mortar
office obsolete and was offering unprecedented freedom and
efficiency to the independent architect. Along with these new
benifits came the potential to expand the profile of the architectural
profession, making it more accessible and affordable to the
general public than ever before.
|
PROFESSIONAL VALUES
By valuing efficiency, transparency and accessibilty over the high
maintenance aspects of corporate office culture, DSA places the
client and the process of design itself at the forefront of the
architectural practice:
|
Efficiency:
• Streamlined office operations
• Minimized production costs
• Paperless graphics and communications
• In-house permit processing
|
Transparency:
• No price markups. Direct billing to client of reimbursable
expenses and consultant fees can save clients 10-15% on
project costs.
|
Direct Access
• Direct lines of communication between the client,
architect and the entire project team.
|
TOP NOTCH TEAMWORK
DSA is proud to have access to a highly gifted set of designers,
consultants and engineers. We only work with local, licensed and
insured structural, mechanical and geotechnical specialists who
have decades of experience working in our specific environment.
DSA always strives to assemble project teams that are custom
tailored to efficiently maximize the potential of each project.
