Douglas Neil Simon has lived in San Diego since 1968. Doug embarked on his architectural journey at San Diego Mesa College with a lifelong passion for architecture and environmental sustainability.

His quest for knowledge led him to California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and later to global experiences in Florence, Italy, and Vienna, Austria. Doug holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Cal Poly and a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, alongside a Professional Architect’s License.

Since 1996, Doug Simon has dedicated his expertise primarily to enriching the Southern California landscape through thoughtful, innovative designs that stand the test of time.

Douglas Neil Simon has lived in San Diego since 1968 and has had approximately 10 years of experience living and working in Europe. Doug embarked on his architectural education at San Diego Mesa College, later received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and eventually went on to study at Columbia University in New York where he received his Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design after earning his State of California Architects License.
